Who We Are
The active members of Create Communities are Frank Hermesdorf, Juergen Schmidt, Neil Davidson, and Marcus WC Tipton. Frank Hermesdorf is the creator of the Community Land Grant Model community developments. Juergen Schmidt is an exceptional developer, engineer, and inventor. Neil Davidson is a proponent of minimalist living and a return to a more symbiotic relationship between humans and the environment. Marcus WC Tipton is the creator of the Incorporated Model of community developments.

Create Communities is a unique foundation with a primary focus on systemically sustainable community developments. Our approach focuses on integrated and adaptive solutions that are inevitably fluid in nature, with each location having unique requirements. Social, environmental, historical, traditional, and cultural traditions are unique in every location. We recognize that singular solutions to complex and systemic problems are ineffective, and introduce solutions that promote whole system sustainable development.
